Amy has been providing individual and couples therapy for over 18 years. Amy uses a strengths-based, collaborative approach to help you meet your goals. Amy meets with clients in person in Ann Arbor, Michigan, or via telehealth throughout Michigan and Ohio.

New Parents
As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist (PMH-C), Amy is passionate about helping new and expecting parents transition to life with a child (or children). Becoming a parent often involves unanticipated anxiety or sadness over role transitions. Amy works with moms, dads, and partners to ease the transition and develop confident parenting. Amy also works with families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, including TFMR.
Students and Early Career Professionals
Amy works with students ages 14 and up through the challenges that come with high school, college and graduate school. Learn and implement strategies for balancing school and outside life, and manage the anxiety inherent in life transitions. Amy also enjoys working with early career professionals in the academic, nonprofit, or office setting. Amy provides a safe space to explore career and family demands.
Older Adolescents and Adults with Mood and Anxiety Disorders
Whether you are experiencing temporary stressors, or have a history of anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder, Amy will work collaboratively with you to improve your mood and develop a toolkit of coping skills. Amy uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and person-centered approaches.
Couples
In addition to working with individuals, Amy also helps couples improve communication and build upon strengths in their relationship. With a background in Family Systems Theory, Amy enjoys helping couples from diverse backgrounds. As a certified Bringing Baby Home Educator, Amy helps couples maintain and strengthen their relationship after having children.
